Traditional incubator programs run in batches — a new cohort every term. Planvas replaces this with a continuous 1-in-1-out model. New entrepreneurs can join at any time, work through the process at their own speed, and qualify when ready. This means no one has to wait for the next batch to start.

Planvas was founded in 2021 in Uppsala, Sweden as a funded project by Region Uppsala, in partnership with UIC, Connect Sverige, STUNS, Drivhuset, and Uppsala University. It has been running successfully at UIC for over 4 years, where the incubator rebuilt their early-stage process around it.
